I’ve watched three movies today, read and finished a good book. Quite mind-enriching! I got inspired to continue my unfinished novels while waiting for *IT. Also, I’m psyched to watch “Eclipse” this week. Who wants to join me? :)
*IT refers to my future career. Hahaha.
Today’s Book: From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E. L. Konigsburg
I bought this book yesterday at Booksale for only Php5.00! Super cheap yet super good! I’m thrilled. Another great find! The first thing I did this morning after I woke up was to read this book. It was really interesting so by lunchtime, I was halfway through it. After watching 2 movies, I resumed reading and before the day was up I was done. It was that fascinating.
The story was about two siblings, namely Claudia and Jamie Kincaid, both elementary students who ran away from home to find adventure. They practically lived within the confines of Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for a week without getting caught and discovered a secret history had long veiled.
I am yet again inspired to write a story of my own, visit museums and had an adventure of a lifetime too! :)
Favorite Lines:
Mrs. Frankweiler: “I keep telling you that often the search proves more profitable than the goal.”
Jamie: “You know what they always say: The only two ways to get to know someone are to live with him or play cards with him.”
Jamie: “Yeah, I guess homesickness is like sucking your thumb. It’s what happens when you’re not sure of yourself.”
Mrs. Frankweiler: “The adventure is over. Everything gets over, and nothing is ever enough, Except the part you carry with you.”
Claudia: “Five minutes of planning are worth fifteen minutes of just looking.”
**I JUST OH SOO LOVE READING. :)
Nora Roberts, Ever After
Today’s Book: A Little Magic by Nora Roberts
It rained today. Perfect weather for me to read and lose myself in a book, very conducive for a far-away, limitless and spellbound journey to fantasy. I had downloaded lots of Ebooks online and sent them to my phone. Superb! :)
There were three stories in the Ebook and all were endearing! All stories spoke volumes of true love, destiny, magic and mystery.
I learned few Gaelic words today. Thanks to the book. I got new vocabs! Cool.
I oh sooo want to go to Ireland! Visit and tour around castles, learn the culture and the language, capture the picturesque view of the city, landmarks and sunsets and fall head over heels in love. ♥
I’ll be in Europe SOON and I’ll make my wildest dreams come true.. ♥

Today’s Book reads: Belin’s Hill by Catherine Fisher
I bought this book for only Php10.00 at Booksale two weeks ago.
It basically piqued my interest and reading it was not a disappointment.
A book with thrilling concept, building climax and a-not-so-tolerable ending.
I got what I paid for! Hahaha. :)
I spent my day reading this book and finished it cover to cover in more or less 6 hours.
I loved the story. It was simple and beautifully sewn to perfection.
Truly, the wonders of faith, hope and love never fails to amaze me.. ♥
this is one of my favorite lines..
“Sometimes you have to strip away everything to find what you were in the first place.” :)
